Mexican Feather Grass

Queensland gardeners and those involved in urban horticulture are asked to assist in finding Mexican feather grass which has the potential to cost Australian agriculture and the environment countless millions of dollars in coming years. 

The Mexican feather grass (Nasella tenuissima) was mistakenly labelled as Stipa capillata and Stipa capriccio by an interstate nursery supplying a Queensland production nursery who then sold  grown on plants to Queensland retail nursery outlets.  More information
