ACDC Refresher Non-Accredited Course

NGIQ, in partnership with Look Now Training, is pleased to offer a one-day, non-accredited ACDC refresher course tailored specifically for Queensland nurseries. The ACDC training courses previously advertised through NGIQ will not be going ahead as scheduled this year.

This training provides an overview of key units:

AHCCHM307 – Prepare and apply chemicals to control pests, weeds, and diseases
AHCCHM304 – Transport and store chemicals

Participants will develop practical knowledge and skills in:
– Safe transport and storage of chemicals
– Chemical application considerations and spray drift mitigation
– Integrated pest management strategies
– Risk assessments and compliance requirements
– Record-keeping and self-auditing procedures
– Practical assessments for chemical spills, transport, and spraying
– Chemical treatment of fire ants

IMPORTANT
This refresher course is designed to reinforce important skills and knowledge most relevant to nurseries but will not qualify participants for an ACDC license. Upon enrolment, participants must complete a pre-course survey and provide proof of identification (e.g., Driver’s Licence, Medicare Card) as required by the government. No literacy or numeracy testing is required.

There are no prerequisites to enrol in this course.

Non-Members Price: $375 (inc. GST) per person
