Industry awards are a great way to formally recognise the great work your business does. There are a range of awards that are relevant to the Nursery and Garden Industry including business, sustainability and production. Sunshine Coast Business Awards
This award recognises peak performances across the Sunshine Coast Region. There are several categories that can be entered including Agribusiness, Customer Service, Innovation and Sustainability.

Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards
Monthly and annual awards starting from May and ending in October 2017. Entries must be submitted by the 1st of each month. There are 11 categories that can be entered including Family Business, Retail Wholesale and Distribution and Environment and Sustainability.

Tropical North Queensland Innovation Awards
An annual award aimed at recognising the creation or commercialisation of an innovative product that benefits business or broader community. A particularly relevant category under these awards are ‘Eco-Innovation’

Telstra Business Awards
Awards for small and medium sized businesses. Entries open late January 2017.

Banksia Sustainability Awards
Recognising sustainable practices. Entries are open between April and August. There are a number of awards including Small to Medium Business Sustainability Award.

Premier’s Sustainability Awards
Multiple categories including Business Eco-efficiency, Community Award and Small Business Award. There is currently no information about when the 2017 entries will open.
