Shamrock Plants is located at Carbrook in Brisbane's southern suburbs, with the business being owned and operated by Joe & Jodie Eliasaf. Shamrock Plants are specialist growers of gerberas, garvineas, mini roses, lavender, and other flowering lines; selling to retail nurseries and big box stores.

Kingfisher Wholesale Nursery is located at Clagiraba in the Gold Coast hinterland, and is owned and operated by Chris and Jodie Sturt along with a staff of four. Kingfisher Wholesale Nursery is a specialist grower of new release PBR and Trademarked plants, as well as general landscape lines supplying both the retail and landscape sectors.

Australis Plants is owned and operated by Greg O’Sullivan, and specializes in olive and other fruit trees, as well as the production of grafted native plants. The main market is commercial growers and wholesale nurseries throughout Australia, and to a lesser extent overseas clients.

This video describes how using a biological water clarifier was used to improve water quality in a nursery water storage. The storage contained increasing levels of algae, plankton and surface floating weeds, leading to costly management and maintenance activities, crop production issues and an unpleasant odour. Ten weeks into the treatment, the water turbidity had significantly improved, algal blooms had disappeared, and the previous unpleasant odour was no longer evident.

Over a period of 21 years Colin Olsen and Judy Turner have implemented a number of water efficiency measures both prior to, and during the Rural Water Use Efficiency.

The Portable Weight Based Scheduling Tool (PWBST) has been developed under the South East Queensland Irrigation Futures (SEQ-IF) program by the National Centre for Engineering in Agriculture (NCEA) at the
University of Southern Queensland.

Tropical Exotics nursery is located at Ningi north of Brisbane and is owned by Gil & Teena Hebrard. The nursery produces a range of container plants designed for interior use, and are sold and marketed through retailers, wholesaler s and plant hire companies along the east coast of Australia.

Wallum Nursery is a wholesale Australian native plant nursery, specialising in tube stock for revegetation. Landscape contractors, wholesale nurseries, greening groups, counci ls and government
agencies provide the customer base for the quality tube stock that is dispatched along the eastern seaboard of Australia from Cairns to Sydney.

Carbrook Nursery is situated on 4.4 hectares of land at Fischer Road at Carbrook, south of Brisbane. The site currently has 4000 square metres of production area in the full sun and 420 square metres of shade
production area. 

Logans Nursery is an established tree and shrub nursery located on Brisbane’s Southside. The Capalaba West site containing 0.8ha of production area has been in operation for 15 years and the irrigation system has
grown along with the business expansion over that time.

Tingalpa Wholesale Nursery is situated on 25 acres at Sunnydene Road Capalaba West.  The site has three acres of stock plants and more than thirteen thousand square metres of indoor foliage plants growing
under protected structures.

In 1976 Don and Daphne established Heatons Wholesale Fern Nursery at Nambour on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast based around their very extensive private collection of ferns. In 1997 Don and Daphne relinquished control of the nursery to son Peter and his wife Maree who continued to develop and expand Heatons Nursery.
